Good GRIEF! Thank goodnes he fell asleep! What a jerk! Ack. So sorry to hear that you went through this terrifying experience. And SO happy to hear that it didn’t end as badly as it could have.

    He sounds like a douchecanoe!

And no, I’ve never had a problem dating someone pretty, because that situation would never happen. Or have happened. I’m pretty sure it won’t now. *shrugs* So there’s that.

And I’ve never ended up in a dangerous situation in spite of sometimes not caring if I do. Ack. Life, huh?

I’m so glad he passed out. Holy hell…what a douche. And you served him his mother’s food. That is priceless.

I dated someone from the age 15 to 20 who was emotionally and physically abusive. He wasn’t even that good looking.

So. Loser was not a typo after all. Chalk that one up to experience, eh?

Have I ignored my better instincts and ended up in a scary situation? Oh my goodness yes. I don’t really know where to start. Because it’s a story that I wish to keep private. Suffice to say, I met a guy, fell in love, got engaged and then married inside of 5 months. In spite of red flags and warning signs. It was not “I married the Mob” in terms of actual black market type shenanigans, but my in-laws were one very troubled lot. My husband was a very troubled man. In a moment of clarity, about 7 years into the relationship he asked for a divorce. I jumped at the chance.

Back in my youth, I had a few one night stands that I don’t care to talk about too often. One of the guys, who wasn’t a one night stand, was a Mixed Martial Arts Cage Fighter, and he was half sioux indian, half italian. He was a beautiful, beautiful man.

And he was married with a kid. He had told me he was newly divorced, not that his wife was staying with family during the Alaskan winter because she coudln’t stand how cold Alaska was.

Yup. It sucked. I felt awful when I found out he was married.

If you don't comment, then I'm just talking to myself -- and I do too much of that already.
